You are Special!!

I am proud of people

Very nice, very special,

True friends, true angels,

Who are as the sun:

They warm us even

From far away,

They make the sky more blue

Do you know I am proud?

I am proud of you!!

Life at the Local Railway Station, Mumbai.

Railways & Travelling by train are daily routine of practically of every Mumbaikar. It is at the railway station that one sees a range of people, happenings & emotions, etc.
One has to wait for a full hour at the railway station because of derailment of a goods train making all trains late by 45minutes. One could see the frustrated faces of people who are always in a hurry especially in Mumbai. One could hear all sorts of stories about why the trains were late. One saying that a Bomb had been kept at one of the previous stations. So the trains were not allowed to run. One could hear people cursing all those bad elements who had tried such outrageous things & put so many people’s life in danger.
As the time passes by, the number of people at the station keeps on increasing. One couldn’t but help wondering how many lakhs of people this city accommodates, of all religion & castes. The railway platform & train compartments overcrowds where people forget their differences to attain one goal-to reach their destination. By then, some people form groups and take a taxi to their destination by sharing the taxi fare. Some others decide to take a bus and leave the station.
The canteen & the food stalls at the station make brisk business & so also the shoe-shine boys at the platform. The announcement over the Public Address System about the trains being delayed because of the derailment of a goods train put all overactive brains to rest. Some men who are lucky enough occupy the bench & start their game of playing cards & others who stand as spectators also show interest in the game. After few minutes, when there will be announcement that the train is about to arrive, many people heave a sigh of relief & the men immediately get ready. The Ladies tuck their sarees, holds their dupattas firmly & place their gold chains & magalsutras between their teeth, start to get ready to make a dash to board the train.
It is a kind of ritual that, one always gets to observe with the ladies who try to guard themselves against chain snatchers. The vegetable vendors carry the basket of vegetables, will be seen getting ready to get into the luggage compartment. As the train comes to halt at the station, one would see hordes of people getting out of the train, like a swarm of bees. Then, starts the rush to get into the train as the Fast Train halts for 20seconds & Slow Train halts for 30seconds and it will be like a wrestling match that takes place. The luckier ones get into the train, the others slightly luckier ones hanging out of the train & the unlucky ones will be left cursing for their fate & waiting for the next train.
This shows how Mumbaikar’s Life becomes so Routine, Time-Bound & Mechanical. For Mumbaikar’s Local Trains are the Fastest & Cheapest Means of Transportation. If the Local trains stop, Mumbai grinds to halt.
Mumbai’s life is Great life. Even though the life is Hectic, Mumbaikar’s Love this Mumbai City a Lot. Hats’ off to Mumbaikar’s.

Life in Mumbai

“Life in Mumbai is Hectic & Routine” is what every Mumbaikar would say when asked for an opinion. Compare the life in Mumbai with that in a village. One gets up to start his day with chemicals-toothpaste whereas a villager would opt for a humble neem stick. From morning it is a ‘Get-Set-Go’ procedure. Either to go to office, or college or school or workplace, it is a mad rush. One does not have the time to stand & think. The city makes you absolutely emotionless. How many people do we see who are ready to help accident victims? We only keep complaining that no one is ready to help accident victims, least realizing that we ourselves do not help.
It is work & work the whole day. This city never sleeps. You can see people & lots of them even late at night. The people are crazy. One can find people carrying transistor radios to work so that they keep up with the cricket scores, still others standing outside electronic goods shop watching the latest proceedings on the television screens. They enjoy when India wins. And people burst crackers which is unique to this city.
Bomb Scare or no Bomb Scare, Life goes on. Thousands of people enter the city of fortunes everyday from different parts of the country with a hope to make it big one day. How can Mumbai be complete without Udupi Restaurants & local Vadapav/BhelPuri/PaaniPuri/Pan Masala Stalls?
On Sundays also, one finds enough crowds on the streets. The week days give the mad rush to catch the earliest possible local train. In fact, one can conveniently say that, ONCE YOU STAY HERE FOR A FEW YEARS YOU NEVER LIKE TO LEAVE THE PLACE, though the Life in Mumbai is Hum-Drum, Hectic, and Routine. There is no Freshness, no real Joy. Everything is Artificial. Even the Smiles on the Faces of Mumbaikars are Unnatural. But after one comes to Mumbai in his/her teenage or after 20’s, Mumbai City completely changes the life of him/her & none of the qualities will be same as the person was before.

Views and Thoughts

I'm from extremely orthodox family. So my views and thoughts was of like 1930's. I had to change myself a lot..But I gradually changed by myself..
Got myself explored to new set of people, their views, ideas and thoughts made me realize that I should change a lot or else will be entering into a deep sea.
In my first year, and first day of the lecture class, When I entered my classroom, [no.30], 5th floor, I saw a place in first bench next to 2girls[Purva and Manasvi]. Those two girls were looking extra-ordinarily beautiful. I went and sat with them. Gradually started gossiping enquiring about their name, place..so and so forth. But gradually I found somewhat strange in their attitude and the behaviour. Those two were Twins. They use to illtreat a lot[cursing, laughing at others'] somewhat I didnt like them.somehow I managed with them uptill completion of my first sem. Later on, in the second sem, I shifted over to another friend named Shobhna.

Life

completing my school education from NGHS, did my PUC in SBMJC. From Nursery to 7th std, it was co-ed and high school only girls. Again my I PU and II PU was co-ed.
Successfully completing II PU, I came to Mumbai since my dad got transfered. Here, in the begining I felt somewhat uncomfortable with the city and also with the people staying over here. The people are harsh but they help public a lot.
As I am from commerce field and had to get admission in good reputed college, me and mom we started hunting for the colleges enquiring about the cut-off colleges. When we were in search of colleges, we were staying in mumbai Central[Which is the Main Part of the City] but later on we shifted to suburban area, Goregaon[e]. After coming over here, I got admission to GSGC, situated in Malad[w]. Its a Rajasthani Sammelans girls' college.
On the first day of my college, when I was suppose to enter the college premises, I got confused whether its a co-ed college or girls' coll. B'coz I could see many of the guys standing near the gate. Later on, I realised that, Next to our college there is a Co-ed college, from where guys pour in to the premises of our coll.
I opted for self financing course and in that I opted to achieve a specialization in Accounts and Finance Field. Now, I'm in second year, to some extent, I ve adjusted to Mumbai life and the method of teaching which is followed over here. I felt difficult in my first year since I'm from outside state and not being familiar to this city and people..everything was quite new.
At the begining I used to feel disgusted. But later on, Day by Day, my views and thoughts went on changing..

Shobhna

Shobhna....A cute naughty girl. She made my friendship on imposing a condition, i.e., she is very much weak in english and wanted me to help her in improving her spoken english.
well, I agreed..
I felt that, She is harsh. The way she speaks I felt its very harsh and rude and there was no limit to her rudeness. But no, it was not the case. Infact, I misunderstood her. In mumbai, people are rude & harsh[tapad marna aur bolna, ekhi tareeka hai in logonka].....That's what I felt.If one has to lead his life he should be a carnivores[in behaviour], rather than herbivores..Feelings are least bothered here. If we are herbivores in our behaviour, surely we directly enter into digestion process....so we have to be rude and harsh. No place for politeness and softness..
Bcoz of her, I changed myself a lot[views,ideas,opinions,thoughts..so on and so forth].But its good if the people are like that.Orelse none of them can lead a peaceful life in this great city of Mumbai. But ha!!!!!!People surely help when one needs it..They all unite together and help the public[whether the person is known/unknown].
Ha.. I also felt people here are rude. Unless you impose, your work will not be done. But they are helpful and honest. City is busy ; you need to talk slowly with new ppl.. they will help you. If any urgency is there, u should force."Bhayya kar lena" ... is the most useful... Ppl will become sentimental for it.... if not done "Are karr lena".... this will surely complete ur work. Every1 says its impossible.. they say u cant get into a train which is full... But if you try for it ..they will help you out... As am speedy by birth, I like this nature much... but not this rude kind... if u carefully observe only words are rude... not by heart......
After analyzing the city & people, I created a policy, i.e. Dont Care Policy[DCP] and will be keep on updating on this policy by myself. and ha!!!!! I even taught this policy to my sis and also to many of my friends.........

There is this woman made for me

this woman craves for me

I love this woman so true

and I know that she loves me too

There is this woman who kisses me

this woman pleases me

I take this woman to be my wife

and I know she wants me for life

There is this woman who dreams about me

This woman makes love to me

When I lay against this woman to sleep

I feel a love towards her so deep

There is this woman who loves me

This woman was made for me

I desire her in every possible way

This woman is my night and day

Making Love With You

Making Love With You
by Bill Turner
The nights passion is driven
Pushed to the brink with each touch
Oh this life we are livin'
Loving each other so much

When we are together
Electricity in the air
Loving each other forever
Showing how deeply we care

Kisses becoming sensual taste
Intense, satisfying touch
Not a moment to waste
It will never be too much

Pounding each other deep
Hands entwined in hair
This moment we will keep
Showing that we care

Never finding the end
As we start anew
The way our bodies do bend
Making love us two

Divine Presence...

You never have to feel yourself alone

As this tree, apparently lonely in all landscape,

Be sure that you will always have the sun to hug you, to heat you

And after its descent at sunset,

You will have the stars,

Plenty of friends to lull to sleep you from the sky

Nobody is alone when in the presence of Gods creatures

Golden shades of the nature,

A pallet in Gods Hands,

So much love, so much beauty

Fills my soul and my eyes

The twilight, in magic,

Coloring, intense, brief,

Divine touch radiates

And it becomes my soul happy.
