Types of Investment!!
The word 'investments' is one that most of us are familiar with hearing in financial context. For many of us, it may make us thing of big business and vasts sums of money, but there's much to the world of investments than multi-million dollar deals.
Although it's true that, at the top level, investments may run into many millions, it is possible for the average person in the street to invest smaller amounts of money and to invest it wisely. If you've ever thought about trying to help your money to grow, then maybe you've wondered what opportunities are available.
In truth, investments can cover a wide range of options. One of the most traditional types of investing is in the stock market. This has been viewed by some as being a difficult type of investment to get into, but times are changing. The new range of online stockbrokers available mean that it's now easy (and fairly inexpensive) to get involved in buying and selling shares. If you're interested in share dealing yourself, then you'd be wise to remember that there is a risk involved ("shares may go down in value, as well as up"). An alternative type of investment, which has become particularly popular in the UK, is that of property. As with the stock market, property should be looked at as a long-term investment.
The main types of financial investments are cash, fixed interest securities (gilts and bonds) and shares (equities).
CASH
Cash deposited in a bank or building society can earn interest. The amount of interest that you will get depends upon a number of different things:
1. The general level of interest rates set by the Bank.
2. The size of your investment - larger investments may attract higher interest rates
3. How long you are prepared to give up access to your money - if you are prepared to wait, say 60 or 90 days before withdrawing your money, you may get more than if you withdrew it straightaway.
Saving in deposit accounts or National Savings products which offer interest, is the way most people start investing. However, there is some risk involved because the interest you receive after tax, may not be enough to allow the value of your cash to keep up with inflation. Over the long term this can mean that your money loses its value in terms of what it can buy. A Rs.1 coin will always be worth Rs.1, but what you can buy with that coin will reduce with inflation.
FIXED INTEREST SECURITIES (GILTS AND BONDS)
Bonds are issued by governments and companies as a means of borrowing money. Government bonds are known as gilt-edged securities or "gilts". Bonds issued by companies are known as corporate bonds.
Bonds and gilts are issued with a promise that investors' money will be repaid at a set future date - the "redemption date". In the meantime, the bonds/gilts pay out a regular and usually fixed amount of interest. The income you earn is known as the bond yield. This is generally higher than the interest paid on deposit accounts because bonds can be riskier than deposit accounts. For example, the price of bonds varies relative to interest rates and may therefore fall when interest rates are rising.
If you need access to your money before the redemption date, you can sell the bond to someone else through the open market. The price you get will be the market price of the bond at the time you sell, so you may get more or less than you would get if you wait till the redemption date.
SHARES
Shares in a company are just that. As a shareholder you own part of the company in which you have invested, and have a direct share in its assets and future profits. Shares are often called "equities". Part of the company's profit may be paid directly to you in the form of dividends, normally distributed twice a year. People also invest in shares to make money through an increase in value, which is reflected in the share price.
It is important to note that the value of shares can go down as well as up and you may not get back the amount you originally invested.

MNC pays Rs.20,000/- for Training and double will be the pay after training is over!! What do u achieve by getting 40,000/-.They r almost sacrificing half of their life in companys' working more than 10hrs-12hrs..they dont even find time to spend with family members!! no outing nothing!! Simply working more than DONKEYS!!Moreover, people cant work after 40's if they r working in MNC's, bcoz of health disorders!! Health disorders may be bcoz of sitting long hrs in Front of computer, Strain for eyes, will suffer from back pain!!Do we get pension?? after retirement!! no..Only in Government Jobs we get pension..MNC may provide with Health Insurance, but will they provide even after our retirement?? No..Never!!

Since I am pursuing with Bachelor of Commerce in Accounts and Finance[B.C.A.F, Professional Bcom], I would like to share an example with all my Near and Dear One's!!
Suppose, If A is earning Rs. 40,000, and B is earning Rs.30,000 working in good reputed MNC's..If their monthly expenditure is Rs.20,000/- and remaining 20k of A and 10k of B should be invested!! But, if A has kept Rs.10k[for emergency] and B has kept Rs.5k[for emergency], A will invest remaining Rs.10k in his account and B will Invest Rs.5k in his account!!
Now, after 10yrs, they need double the amount for expenditure living with the same standard of living..without purchasing any fixed assets and leading their life economically can help them to save money for the future.. But, Saying is easiest way than doing it practically!!

When do we understand amount Investment/Finance/Banking??If a person specialized in Accounts and Finance field and wish to enhance knowledge regarding this to others'..some r least bothered to listen!! They say, This is very boring topic and Y r u heating our head?? Plz dont Bombard with loads of Info regarding this..Bcoz we feel we r unsecure, even though we r earning lakhs of Rupees!!

- Many of us will ve dream of having Buckinghum Palace
Some of them feel funny/silly when I ve listed out the requirements/need/essentials of Investing!! But ve we ever thought of Investment??our future?? no never we do that!! If we start thinking/analyzing, then immediately within a fraction of a second we stop thinking and will never bother to think again..Assumption will be common among all of us, i.e; Lets accept what all comes in our way, What all is written in our fate, that what happens and no one can help for it nor can change our fate!!
But we have to be ready for each and every circumstance/situation..Life is Uncertain and anything can happen at any point of time..
Former President of India, A.P.J.Abdul Kalam had said in his speech to every Indian that, "We are the first in milk production.We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.We are the second largest producer of wheat.We are the second largest producer of rice."
We shall question ourselves that What about in economy??When will we overcome with Poverty??
So, we being responsible citizens of India, lets think how to overcome with poverty and try to educate people who are lacking behind in this regard!!

The Road Less Travelled!!
How often we must bear the challenges of life;
The endless roller coaster between happiness and sorrow;
The constant ups and downs of daily strife.
And always the question remains .... why?
Life is not an easy road for most;
It twists and turns with many forks in the road,
Although always, and inevitably, we are given a choice ...
Do we turn to the right ... or the left?
Do we take the high road ... or the low road?
Do we take the easy path ... or the difficult one?
Decisions are not easy for those struggling for direction ...
And sometimes the many choices and signs become overwhelming.
While standing at a crossroads in life,
The urge is to take the most comfortable path;
The road with least resistance ...
The shortest or most travelled route.
And yet, if we've been down that comfortable road before;
Have gleaned its lessons in life, and learned from our experiences;
Do we yet again follow the known?
Or does our destiny lie in another direction?
The fear of the road less traveled is tangible and all too real;
It manifests itself in many ways,
And tends to cloud the issues that might otherwise be clear.
It is in these times of confusion,
That we must seek peace and solitude;
Time to contemplate on our life,
Our experiences and our choices past;
Time to look back, and reflect on what we have learned
Without fear or confusion.
For only each of us knows our own personal thoughts;
Our unique past and personal history;
The experiences that brought us to the crossroads we now face.
We can always learn a small degree from others experiences,
And yet ... no one person can walk in our shoes,
Others know not, the trials and tribulations faced in private ...
For each is individual ... unique ... and personal.
And that is why ... while standing at a crossroads,
Only "we" can formulate the decision for ourselves;
The true direction that lies within;
The choices we must deliberate on with clarity and wisdom.
For it is only through personal reflection,
That we can now choose our destiny;...
...Our next adventure;
...And the future we will embrace.

Spandana, a true friend of mine.Both of us, completing PUC in the same college became very close to each other.At the begining I thought she doesn't mingle with anybody and don't interact much......but in 2nd year, both of us joined the same tution and started gossiping and somehow became friends.
Gradually, we became close to each other by sharing our feelings, views, thoughts, opinions..I helped her in stats and used to discuss a lot..we are popularly known as chatter box.
Now, she is in Blore and I'm in Mumbai...Missing her a lot...Her Smiles, jokes...!!!!!!!!!!

Gratitude Testimonial to My Sister!!
When we were young we fought like cats and dogs. I remember the feeling of the cold linoleum as we wrestled on the floor and the feel of my sister’s body wrapped around mine. Strangely we loved this fighting. Our mother tried a few times to stop us and we would fiercely yell at her, “Go away, this is none of your business, we like this!” as we grabbed at each other’s bodies. Finally she got the message and left us alone to our skirmishes.
Though our fights were usually physical, sometimes they were emotional – not the usual name-calling, but a more sophisticated taunting, such as “I know something that you don’t know and I’m not going to tell you”. I guess we both had strong curiosities and this not-knowing was a form of torture. Despite all the fighting we loved each other dearly and stood up for each other. Woe to the person who dared to lay a hand on one of us – only we were allowed to abuse each other!
Through the opportunity of expressing all our emotions about each other freely and completely we grew to know and understand each other very well. As we matured into this greater understanding of each other, the fighting just fell away, no longer necessary. We developed a strong, intimate bond that served us well through our teen-aged years.
I so looked forward to my nightly bed-time ritual in the bathroom! Not the washing of my face or the brushing of my teeth, but the sharing of the day with my beloved sister. We were alone together in our own sanctuary – no one would interrupt the confiding of our intimate secrets here. And it was a joy to unburden my heart to her as my sister was totally supportive and accepting of everything I revealed to her. The “ups” of teen-aged life obviously got even better in the sharing, but so, surprisingly did the “downs”. In the sharing we would laugh and cry together and any pain was always eased. I considered myself so lucky to have a sister that I could share my heartfelt self with intimately and honestly and be accepted for who I was. I loved that precious time together and all that we shared and I love my sister.

Diwali Diyas!!
The fifteenth night of the month of Karthika is a no moon night, that is, 'Amavasya' is celebrated as the festival of Diwali by Hindus residing across the globe. But, with zillions of Diyas lit, the darkness has to find a place to hide. They enlighten the aura with such a brilliance that amidst the sheen of it evil is engulfed.
Widely known as 'The Festival Of Lights', Diwali connotes the victory of good over evil. Numerous folklores are associated with the festival of Diwali. And every tale indicate towards one fact that it is inevitable for the good to triumph over evil. On one hand, Lord Rama ended the reign of Ravana and on the other hand Lord Krishna killed demon Narakasura, thereby, re-establishing peace and happiness in three worlds.
Diwali Diyas is the embodiment of the same goodness, virtuosity, and eternal truth. For Hindus, light is the symbol of knowledge, wisdom, goodness, happiness, peace, truth and prosperity. Whereas, darkness symbolizes everything opposite to it. We find in legendary stories of Diwali the mention of the role of Diyas. Natives of Ayodhya lit Diyas in the way of Lord Rama, Lakshmana, and Mother Sita so that they would not get distracted from the path.
It was physically done at that time, but there is a deeper significance relevant even in contemporary times. Diya not only help in enlightening the physical path but the spiritual path too. It shows the right way so that our soul never indulge in any kind of evil. It teaches the lesson of brotherhood and encourages everyone to choose the road that leads to serenity of mind and soul.
People belonging to Hindu community all around the world indulge in lavish celebrations of the festival, but it is also important to understand the essence of these celebrations. The lesson is not confined to be adopted by Hindus only, but the idea is universal and thus encompasses the mankind on the whole. If these beautiful Diyas would start appealing to everyone's mind and soul can turn the world into a Utopian one.
