KC Concepcion – The X-Factor Philippines Host

KC Concepcion finally a host of The X-Factor Franchise, one of the highly-anticipated shows of ABS-CBN this 2012.

It has just been confirmed today, two days after KC signed another exclusive contract with ABS-CBN.

“It will end this year with me having a happy heart and [I'll] start my year with a happy heart,” said Concepcion after the promotional shoot of her newest hosting job, “The X-Factor Philippines.”

“Alam mo niyo, kapag mayroong dumarating sa buhay natin, mahirap na tanggihan kasi may dahilan kung bakit napupunta sa iyo yon,” added Concepcion.

The X-Factor Philippines will start its nationwide auditions this January and is set to premiere possibly by 3rd Quarter of 2012.

Melanie Amaro, Josh Krajcik, and Chris Rene: Who will win The X Factor USA?

"Chris Rene gained a following as the only rapper in the competition who even went as far as writing and singing his own composition in the live shows. His originally composed audition piece instantly got the judges’ votes while his touching story as a trash collector who just underwent rehab captivated the hearts of the judges and the audience."

"Josh Krajcik, on the other hand, impressed the judges during auditions with his rendition of Etta James’ song “At Last.” From slinging burritos at a restaurant in Ohio, Josh is now singing his way to stardom as the only Over 30’s act still in the competition."

LA: claims this is the toughest part of the show because they are both great and Rachel really surprised him because he thought she would be slaughtered by Marcus. She wasn’t but he stays faithful to his man, Marcus sending home Rachel.

SIMON: he stays true to Rachel, sending home Marcus.

PAULA: loves them both but sends home Marcus.

NICOLE: Has the deciding vote or they go to deadlock. Rachel interjects and tells her not to cry and that she would be happy either way. Nicole doesn’t want to send home either so she sends home Rachel, leaving it to America’s vote to determine who will go home.

For some time now, ABS-CBN has been showing the X Factor logo after airing its TV shows. Some viewers might have thought that it refers to The X Factor US, which is currently being aired on Studio 23. However, a new teaser indicates that The X Factor actually refers to the Philippine edition of the reality talent search conceptualized by former American Idol judge Simon Cowell.
