Philippine Azkals - Southeast Asian Games - Schedule
The Philippine Azkals Under-23 team will begin its Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) campaign when it clashes against football powerhouse Vietnam on Thursday.
The Azkals, seeking their first gold medal in SEAG, will square off against Vietnam at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta.
The game will be aired Live Streaming on Studio 23 dishnetwork starting 4:30 p.m.
“Wish us luck! The boys will fight to make the country and their families proud,” tweeted Azkals team manager .
Vietnam is a perennial contender in SEAG football, having placed 2nd three times in the last 5 editions of SEAG.
Although it was defeated by the Azkals in the 2010 Suzuki Cup, Vietnam is currently higher than the Philippines in FIFA rankings. Vietnam is ranked 134th while the Philippines is at No. 158.
Other teams clustered with the Philippines and Vietnam in Group B are Brunei, Laos, Timor Leste and Myanmar.
The games will be aired live on Studio 23 on the following dates:

· Nov. 15 (Wednesday) 7:30 p.m.
